Kelsea Ballerini Welcomes Maren Morris Into Red Wine Club In Funny Exchange

Kelsea Ballerini Welcomes Maren Morris Into Red Wine Club In Funny Exchange

Maren Morris is officially a part of the red wine club and Kelsea Ballerini is happy to welcome her.

Over the weekend, one of Morris' fans turned to Twitter to point out how the "Girl" singer's wine preference has changed over the last few years. The tweet includes one photo of Morris drinking red wine and a screenshot of one of Morris' tweets from 2018 that read, "Guys, I hate to tell you this, but red wine is gross #UnrefindedPalate."

"The taste buds got a glow up!," the fan wrote alongside the photos. "Welcome to the Red Wine club! @MarenMorris."

Morris responded to the tweet writing, "DRAG HER UNREFINED SELF. Maybe @KelseaBallerini has been right all this time."

Ballerini then replied to Morris' tweet, offering a warning to the new red wine lover. "Haha!! you will now also relate to how quickly it disappears," she wrote alongside a GIF of a woman holding a massive wine glass captioned, "just one glass."

Ballerini adds, "I'm coming over to celebrate this change of heart the only way fitting."

Taking it one step further, Morris replied writing, "Us talking about our enemies," alongside a Game Of Thrones GIF captioned "More wine."

See the exchange on Twitter below.

Ballerini's current single, "Hole In The Bottle" is the perfect song for all the wine lovers. The song finds the country star turning to wine as a bandaid for her heartbreak.

"There’s a hole in the bottle / Leakin’ all this wine / It’s already empty, and it ain’t even suppertime," she sings in the chorus. "No, I don’t miss him / In fact, it slipped my mind / There’s a hole in the bottle of wine."

"Hole In The Bottle" is included on Ballerini's album kelsea and her most recent reimagined project, ballerini.

On the other hand, Morris' most recent single, which arrived earlier this month, takes a more serious approach on current issues in our country. "Better Than We Found It," written by Morris alongside Jessie Jo Dillon, Jimmy Robbins and Laura Veltz, challenges listeners to come together to make a positive change in the world.

"When time turns this moment to dust / I just hope that I'm proud of the woman I was / When lines of tomorrow are drawn / Can I live with the side that I chose to be on?" Morris sings in the chorus. "Will we sit on our hands doing nothing about it / Or will we leave this world better than we found it?"
