Lorrie Morgan canceled upcoming shows and appearances after her husband was hospitalized amid his cancer battle.

Tony Conway, manager for Morgan — known for “What Part of No,” “Except for Monday,” “Watch Me” and more — confirmed the country star, 65, will no longer take the stage at scheduled concerts and other appearances over the next two weeks. Conway said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday (April 17): “Morgan’s husband of nearly 15 years, Randy White, has been undergoing treatment for mouth cancer. White has been readmitted to a hospital in Middle Tennessee.”

Morgan’s website shows she was scheduled to take the stage at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, plus other venues on Alabama’s ongoing tour in upcoming weeks. Pam Tillis will reportedly step in for Morgan on the tour dates with Alabama. It wasn’t immediately clear as of publication time on Friday (April 18) exactly when Morgan would perform again.

Morgan, who was previously married to late legend Keith Whitley, tied the knot with White in a private beachside ceremony in September 2010. She opened up about her husband’s cancer treatment last year, stating at that time: “We deeply appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and for continued support and privacy as we focus on Randy's health and on our family at this time.” In December, Morgan posted a 3-year-old photo with her husband at Christmas. She said he was “making some progress. I miss us there. We are strong and he is determined.”
