Imagine sitting and waiting for HOURS for tickets to your favorite artists, only to end up with $9K in fees and no tickets to show for it.

25-year-old Sydney Wallace waited for eight hours in the dreaded Ticketmaster queue and FINALLY got in to grab a pair of tickets. As she snagged the tickets for over $550, she got an error message saying "Sorry, something went wrong. Try Again." She tried 14 more times, as the tickets prices kept rising to over $600 by the time she finally gave up and her card stopped working.

He bank had been charged every single time she got the error message and it drained her account. Wallace then found out that she had $8,991.92 worth of charges from SEAT GEEK to her account with all the fees and charges. PANIC MODE!

Wallace, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Arizona in Mesa, Arizona, said she immediately called her bank and was told, "none of the charges resulted in a ticket purchase and that I had to wait 3-5 business days to receive a refund."

NO TICKETS?! All the work and drama, all that money frozen and account locked and she's still not going to the show! That's mind blowing. Not to mention, a broke college student, she's gotta wait possibly 5 days with no money to get refunded.

I feel so terrible for this woman. Can't even imagine the anger and frustration.

Taylor Swift released a statement about the whole failure of the ticketing system for everyone saying this on her Instagram Stories, "It's really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse."
