Jaida Dreyer was named the season one winner of USA’s Real Country this week. Taste of Country reports that the Canadian born, American raised singer and songwriter was best known as a writer of Luke Bryan's hit song "Home Alone Tonight" before winning the show with an original performance of "Jack It to Jesus, Spray It to Hell.” Dreyer was one of seven finalists who performed during the finale, and earned a score of a 4.6 to edge out Larry Fleet and trio Copper Chief for the $100,000 cash prize and Grand Ole Opry performance slot. "We've all heard your songs on the radio that you've written for other people," Dreyer's coach Jake Owen told the singer. “But it’s about damn time we hear you singing your own songs on the radio."
