Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are showing off their 20-acre island in the Bahamas in the pages of “Architectural Digest.” The couple bought the property, which they call L’île d’Anges, in 2003 but it definitely needed a lot of work. “There was just a little shack,” Tim tells the mag, although Faith still knew, “It was a great little place.”
Renovations weren’t finished until 2012 but now the island contains eight “pavilions.” “We set out to build a house. We had no idea we had to build everything else,” Faith says. “We basically had to build a little town.”
The couple and their three daughters now use the home as a place to escape their busy lifestyles. Tim shares, “Every time we land the plane and walk onto the beach and head up to the house, we turn to each other and say, ‘This is the best place in the world.’” If you want to be seriously jealous, check out photos of the home here.
