Juice WRLD Brings Emo Hip Hop To iHeartRadio Daytime Stage

Juice WRLD owned the iHeartRadio Daytime Stage in Las Vegas.

After being introduced by Big Boy, host of Real 92.3's Big Boy Neighborhood, the 20-year-old rapper graced the Sin City audience with a number of his hit records on Saturday (September 21), while dressed in sweats and a belly-revealing jean jacket.

Juice began his energized set with multiple tracks off his 2018 debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance, including “Armed & Dangerous,” "Fine China,” “Black & White," and “Lean With Me." Juice also performed his latest single “Robbery,” his Travis Scott collab, “No Bystanders," and his 2019 hit "Hear Me Calling," before rounding out his set with his breakout single “Lucid Dreams.”

Before taking the Daytime Stage, Juice spoke with Sisanie, co-host of Ryan Seacrest's show On Air With Ryan, about his recently wrapped tour. "Tour life is most definitely an experience, to say the least. I enjoy it but it's most definitely feels good to be home," he explained, admitting that he got homesick while on the road.

Juice additionally spoke about his forthcoming new music, saying, he is "putting out some content soon. I know everybody is going to vibe to it."

As fans know, 2019 has been quite the year for the Chicago native. In addition to releasing his second studio album Death Race for Love in March, he was named one of BIllboard's 21 under 21 artists of the next generation. Most recently, he announced that he's set to do a charity show, which is described as a “cultural event created to positively impact communities," to give back to his hometown.

As part of his tour, Juice will take the stage in Chicago on October 17 and donate to the 100 Black Men, a non-profit organization that he participated in as a kid growing up in Chicago. “I’m happy to be giving back to 100 Black Men with the McDonalds partnership,” he told Complex earlier this month. “It helped me find positive role models and mentors that I want other kids today to have.”
