Thomas Rhett Wants Us All To 'Be a Light' In The Coronavirus Darkness!

Thomas Rhett has released a new song called “Be a Light” featuring Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban.

Rhett wrote the song and then released it to bring some hope and help with proceeds from the all-star recording benefiting the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.

“In a world full of hate/ Be a light/ When you do somebody wrong/ Make it right/ Don’t hide in the dark, you were born to shine/ In a world full of hate/ Be a light”

On Instagram Rhett said, “This song was really just about being a light in a dark place; being an encouragement to people … We weren’t supposed to release this now, but I really felt like the song needed to come out today. I hope it puts a smile on your face in this crazy, crazy time.”

He posted with the caption, “Be A Light” featuring some of the brightest lights I know @reba @hillaryscottla @christomlin @keithurban, out now [link in bio]. Proceeds benefit MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund to directly support those in the music community in need during this time. Stream this thing like crazy y’all. We are in this together 💡 & thanks for all the birthday love!
