A listener called into The Bobby Bones Show asking for an update on Amy and her kids going to Haiti.
It's been almost 3 years since Amy and her husband brought home their two children from Haiti. Since they've been back in the states, Amy has shared on air that she hopes to take their kids back to Haiti one day. When the listener called in today (November 9) asking Amy on the latest with taking their kids back to visit Haiti, she shared that she still wants it to happen some day.
However, because of the latest turmoil going on in Haiti, including the kidnapping of a group of Americans, Amy says they will have to keep waiting. Amy noted that her American friends still in Haiti are being told to "get out" of the country. So to be safe, Amy and her family won't likely go back to Haiti until things have gotten better.
