Man Gets One-Year Motorcycle Ban After 143 MPH Chase With Police

A 24-year-old man will avoid prison after agreeing to a plea deal stemming from a dangerous high-speed chase with police officers in St. Charles, Illinois. Brian A. Bianco was facing multiple felony charges but agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving. As part of the deal, he will have to perform one hundred hours of community service and will not be allowed to own or ride a motorcycle for 12 months.

Bianco originally managed to evade police, but was tracked down after a video from his helmet camera was added to a compilation video on YouTube featuring motorcycle riders fleeing from police. In the video, Bianco maneuvers between cars stopped at a traffic light until he gets the intersection. He looks over at a police officer who instructs him to pull over and turn off his bike. Instead of following the officer's instructions, Bianco speeds off through the light leading the police officer on a high-speed chase that reached speeds of 143 miles-per-hour.

Bianco was arrested last July after the video was uploaded to the FailsAndFights YouTube page. The description of the video identifies Brian and linked to his personal YouTube page, which allowed authorities to track him down.
